2DAYS/3 NIGHTS AT HELLS GATE NATIONAL PARK

Hells gate national park is located at the heart of Rift valley in Naivasha. Despite its rather sinister name, Hells gate national park is a place of surprising natural beauty and an excellent antidote to life in the first lane.it is one of the only two national parks in Kenya where walking, hiking, climbing and even camping is actively encouraged.

DAY 1: NAIROBI – HELLS GATE NATIONAL PARK
0800 hrs. Pick up at Bata near Hilton hotel, debriefing from your driver guide about the journey plan then start your safari to Hells Gate national park. The Drive will take at least 2 hours to reach to the park and some 20 minutes stop at the view point where you will take photos and get to view the beautiful land scape.

1000 hrs. On arrival at Hells Gate national park. Check in at the gate then proceed to the oldubai campsite.

1100 hrs. visit the ol karia geothermal power station and see how the massive underground thermal energy has been enhanced to help provide for Kenya’s increasing need of electricity. for the water lovers hit the spa and enjoy the water heated miles beneath the surface.
1230 hrs. Eat parked lunch at the campsite then take a walk at the park alongside zebra, eland, giraffe, and gazelles and get to familiarize with the surroundings. . Go for a late evening game drive where you will get to see buffalo, Masai giraffe, eland, leopard and some cheetahs. Have dinner and rest for the day.

DAY 2: TOUR AT HELLS GATE
0630 hrs. Go for an early game drive where you will get to see most animals walking freely at the park not minding the visitors. You can even get out of the car and take close up photos of the animals.it is a life free park with beautiful sceneries like the rocks, gorges, devils bedroom, fischers tower and the Masai cultural Centre

0930 hrs. go back to the camp site have breakfast then head to Ol Njorowa gorge which is arguably one of the most beautiful places to go for a hike. The gorge is known as the jewel of hells gate, a 24 kilometer long deep ravine lined with sheer cliffs, and endowed with hot water springs feeding a stream, it is also popular for film productions like the lion king

1230 hrs. head back to the campsite, eat lunch then head to fischers towers which was named after a German explorer and also the Masai folk tale that a Masai woman went against their taboo on her marriage day by turning back to see her village once again then she turned into a rock, by the help of a rock climbing guide those who want to do the climbing will do and for those who have a phobia for heights will do cycling around the park or a walk at the park viewing birds then later in the evening have dinner and overnight
DAY 3 HELLS GATE – NAIROBI

0630 hrs. early morning game drive for 3 hours get to view more animals and also the birds then head back to the campsite for breakfast and pack up getting ready to depart. Before we leave we visit the Masai cultural Centre buy some souvenirs and support the Masai community. Get to learn about their culture then depart back to Nairobi
