Naivasha (Kenya) & Usambara (Tanzania)
Day
1: Arrive Nairobi.
Day
2: Ngong Hills/Lake Nakuru (B, D)
Head towards the Rift Valley through Ngong Hills Forest day’s trek-
4 hrs and nature walk. Drive to Nakuru home to a million flamingoes and
500 different species of birds.
Day
3: Nakuru NP (L, D)
Wildlife day as we go looking for elusive leopards, black and white rhinos,
buffalo, impala, Thompson gazelle, warthog and waterbucks.
Day
4: Lake Naivasha/Crater Island (B, L, D)
Lake Naivasha tour is a bike and footing expedition.
We go to the Hell’s Gate National Park to wander on foot among herds
of Zebras, wild beasts, gazelle and giraffes. Take a boat ride to Crescent
Island as another option.
Day
5: Naivasha Crater Lake Walk-Nairobi-Arusha
Green Crater Lake allows us an up close and personal look at the many
varieties of antelope. Enjoy the bird life and local geography. Afternoon
we head to Arusha through Nairobi.
Day
6: Maserani Snake Park and Maasai Museum.
Maasai cultural museum makes us gain an understanding of the traditional
village way of life. Again we will see the crocodiles, reptiles and birds
at the Snake Park of Maserani.

7: Arusha.
Arusha at leisure shopping and recreations.
Day
8: Arusha- Lushoto.
Our journey through Moshi for lunch, thereafter climb the Usambara Mountains
as you enjoy the scenic beauty surrounding the wilderness.
Day
9: Start of Usambara Mountain trek (B, L, D)
Trekking begins early morning with a walk through the forest ending at
Lukozi village.
Dinner and overnight at the Guesthouse.
Day
10: Usambara Mountain trekking (B, L, D)
We trek from Lukozi to Rangwi passing through rural villages reflecting
on the African lifestyle in its original customs.
Day 11: Usambara Mountain Trekking (B, L, D)
Forest and soil conservation projects around here are good outreach tour
to women’s pottery group. A visit on African traditions brings deeper
understanding of the beliefs and the traditions of the local villagers.
Day
12: End of Usambara Mountain Trek (B)
Embark on early morning trek, which comes to an end in the early afternoon.
Relax or hire a bicycle to cruise around Lushoto.

13: Mikadi
We travel to Mikadi, a relaxing place with a good music vibes.
Day
14: Mikadi
Free day at leisure. Some options to consider includes a visit to the
National Museum
Market or simply lie on the beach and enjoy a final drink and meal with
the group.

15: Depart Mikadi
